Friends of St. Anthony Preschool
Mission: The purpose of the St. Anthony Preschool Parent Association is to promote the educational, spiritual and social aspects of the St. Anthony Preschool while maintaining financial integrity. In keeping with the Parish Mission, we aim to extend the values of the St. Anthony community of faith to our preschool families, promoting the welfare of our young children in home, school, community and religious settings.
Major Aims: All parents of current preschools students shall be considered members of the St. Anthony Preschool Parent Association, and are invited to participate as a member of the executive board or by volunteering their time as a member of the one of the following committees:
Family Events Committee: This committee plans events for the families of St. Anthony Preschool. These gatherings are intended to help build a strong community atmosphere amongst the families of the preschool.
Fundraising Committee: This committee plans all of the fundraisers to help operate and to purchase supplies and educational materials for St. Anthony Preschool. The funds raised through this committee also help to supplement special events of the St. Anthony Preschool Parent Association throughout the year.
Community Service Committee: This committee organizes ways for the St. Anthony Preschool to provide community service from the classroom and the home to those in need. The committee members will implement a Kindness Curriculum in order to get the preschoolers actively involved in community service.
