Library Books
If cleaning out your bookshelves is an your "To Do" list, please keep our St. Anthony Library in mind. We have close to 500 books – most of which have been donated by generous parishioners. We do ask that they have a copyright no later than 2000 and that they have a Catholic author. The library is located in the Padua Center as part of the Resource Room. It is open any time that the Padua Center is open. Books are checked out and returned on the honor system. To donate a book(s), please drop them off at the Padua Center.

Information on the Annulment Process
What is an Annulment? What is a Decree of Nullity? When can I apply for an annulment? How much will it cost me? These are just a few of the questions that people may have about the annulment process. Deacon Don Berkey has graciously agreed to offer an informative evening on the topic of Annulments on Monday evening, November 3, at 7:00 p.m. in the St. Anthony Meeting Room of the Padua Center. Please pass this information along to others who might also be interested in hearing about the process or in having an opportunity to ask any questions that might have surfaced. This will be an opportunity for the clarification of “rumors” that are out there concerning such topics as costs or length of time that the process will take.
This evening is for anyone who is in the process of divorce or who is already divorced regardless of number of years since the divorce was finalized.
Please respond to Beverly Murphy via email beverly@stanthonyfrankfort.com or phone 815-469-6198. Please be sure to leave your name, and phone number or email address.
An Open Invitation ~ RCIA
Most people come into the Catholic faith on the arm of another whether it be a spouse, a friend, or a neighbor. Do you know someone that might be interested in learning more about the Catholic faith? Would you be willing to reach out and invite someone who might be searching? Why not invite them to inquire about Catholicism by attending our RCIA sessions that will begin on September 16? The sessions are offered on most Tuesday evenings from September until the Easter Vigil. We meet in Room ES B of the Padua Center from 7:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.
Not all baptized Catholics have completed their Sacraments of Initiation (Eucharist, Reconciliation, and Confirmation). Those who are interested in completing the Sacraments who are high school age or beyond attend seven designated sessions of the RCIA process. If you know someone who would like to step more fully into their Catholic faith, please share this information with them and/or ask them to call the AFF Director, Beverly Murphy, at 815-469-6198 for additional information.
Perhaps you feel called to become part of the RCIA Ministry. Please feel free to come serve in this most rewarding ministry as a catechist, sponsor, prayer partner, or hospitality minister. Your involvement will make a difference in your life, your Catholic community’s faith life, and it will make a difference in the lives of those who will be making the RCIA journey of faith this year. Last year was our largest group of inquirers! We are looking forward to another great year as well.
